Astonishing and Inspiring. He's "DANCORE." Everyone has been very supportive and amazing, thank you.
We'll be back at it with a "Return of the Dan" show before you know it. Stay tuned...
ps. Skeleton Key turns one today. Thanks for all your support over the last year. Please... (Download Skeleton Key for free.)

Skeleton Key Review from The Noise
A WISH FOR FIRE
Skeleton Key
5-song CD
"Raw and powerful, yet with a canny knack for melody is a great way to describe this band.
Owen Beane’s vocal approach and sense of melody are easily reminiscent of Matthew Bellamy
from Muse. The band hits hard, while maintaining a radio ready modern rock ethic, complete
with juicy guitar riffs, meaty hooks, and skillfully pounded percussive rhythms. This EP is
skillfully produced and hopes to push all the right buttons. This will be in my laptop for
some time to come." (Joel Simches) (The Noise Website)

Tracking is complete on the new EP, which will be titled "Skeleton Key." We have a couple
of days of mixing in June left, then we hope to announce a release date. We are very excited
to share it with everyone. We feel this record really sounds like where we are right now
and where we are headed. Each players' unique characteristics captured and melded into the
new sound of A Wish For Fire. Thanks to Jase [Hackman, Lamont, et al] as well as Ethan and everyone
at New Alliance for helping us bring this to fruition. Check back soon for sneak peaks and a
new website to coincide with the release.

Album Update
|
Work continues on the new album, which is tentatively titled "Skeleton Key." March studio time
was rescheduled due to a family emergency. Owen and Sep will go in and finish up guitars and
vocals in mid-May. Thanks for all the well wishes and support. We're still on target for a
summer release date with supporting live performances.
We've made the much needed move into a new rehearsal space. More like a recording studio with
a control room located in a rehearsal space. Upgrade. Check back soon for shows and sneak peaks of
the new album. (Photos too, if we ever get around it it.)
